Our Program
A structured, family-centered program that helps youth slow down, rebuild, and find their way back home — one phase at a time.
Growth happens throughout the entire day — during therapy, huddles, chores, outings, meals, recreation, and everyday situations.
The first few weeks are all about helping youth settle in, slow down, and feel safe. Staff spend this time building trust, learning the youth's strengths and triggers, introducing routines and expectations, and helping them adjust to the structure of the home.
This phase is less about punishment and more about stability, support, and helping youth realize they don't have to stay stuck.
Once youth settle in, the real growth work begins. Growth happens throughout the entire day — during therapy, huddles, chores, outings, meals, recreation, and everyday situations.
The goal is progress, not perfection.
As youth continue making progress, the focus shifts toward preparing for life outside the program. Staff work closely with families and support systems to help make the transition home or into the community as successfully as possible.
We want every youth at GHS to leave feeling stronger, more emotionally stable, more confident, and better prepared for what comes next.
Most importantly, we want them to understand that they are more than their mistakes — and that growth, healing, and change are always possible.
